Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use 99¢ Embroidery (“we”, “us”), a service that converts an image you upload into a machine embroidery file. By uploading an image or buying a file, you agree to what is written here.

What the service does

You upload an image. We flatten its lighting, separate it into thread colors, generate stitches, and show you a preview. Uploading, editing and previewing are free. You pay only when you download a machine file. Pricing is 99¢ for designs up to four thread colors, plus 50¢ for each additional thread color, shown to you before checkout.

Your images and your rights

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to process that image only to produce your embroidery file and to operate the service.

You must have the right to use the image you upload. Do not upload logos, characters, artwork or photographs owned by someone else unless you have permission from the owner. Licensed characters, sports team marks and company logos are the usual problem. If you upload something you do not have rights to, that is your responsibility, not ours, and you agree to cover any claim that results. See our copyright policy for how owners report infringement.

What you get

You get a machine embroidery file in the format you chose, for your own use, including items you sew and sell. You may not resell, redistribute or share the digitized file itself as a design file.

What we do not promise

Digitizing is an automated conversion, not a human digitizer. Results vary with the image you start from. Photographs with heavy shading, very small text and very fine lines are the hardest cases. The stitch preview shows you what you are buying before you pay, and we encourage you to look at it closely.

We do not guarantee a file will sew perfectly on every machine, hoop, stabilizer and fabric combination. Sew a test on scrap fabric before committing to a finished piece. The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be disclaimed under law.

Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the file the claim is about.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you have no right to use.
• Do not upload unlawful content, or content that is obscene or harassing.
• Do not try to reach paid output without paying, script bulk requests, or otherwise interfere with the service.

We may decline or stop serving anyone who does these things.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and changes apply to purchases made after they are posted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
